Don't know if it made US news.

At the weekend 3 men were stabbed to death and several wounded by a Libian refugee who was known to Mi5, one of the dead was an American.
If more men loved and cherished their wives as much as I love bacon the world would be a much better place.

When I was in London a couple years ago they had a public program called "Save A Life - Turn In A Knife" or something similar as I remember it. Sounds like it didn't work!

Saw it, GK. I read the BBC at least twice a day. My guess is he was radicalized in prison, and when you totally disarm a citizenry to the point that carrying a Scout knife is seen as criminal, you make it vulnerable to every nut and extremist with simple tools. Breaks my heart.

Yep; Brits used to be tough - they nearly wiped the U.S. off the map before it got started. Sadly, our "Snowflake" generation is emulating every destructive European trend, so we aren't far behind unless we not only show up at the polls, BUT Also make sure the 'moderates' get the message and why it is vital to vote for that boorish Orange Man they so-dislike....he is far more intelligent then any recent President, and does far more sensible things, but too many low-information voters ('liberals', 'progresssssssssssssives', 'academics', and 'college snowflakes' are utterly clueless as to real history or real public policy impacts.

We MUST pull the non-committed into the political sphere and educate them as to WHY 'socialism' has never worked and never will; all it does is hurt minorities and poor people (the ones it claims to help).

"first do no harm" - gun control LAWS lead to far more deaths than 'easy access' ever could.

I saw it in the Bing news clip lineup, I read either the BBC or Reuters story on it. Sadly, a knife attack would likely have drastic effects in many places in the states, even with the ability to carry in so many places.

I often look at either of those, and once in a while I think the Guardian. Its odd, they often have more details on US stories than any of the US media does.

I think it was the Guardian that had extensive coverage and pictures of the Westgate Mall attacks in Nairobi several years ago, far more than any others Id seen. There was at least one photographer inside the mall with the plainclothes off duty guys and civvies that grouped up and went in when nobody else would early on.
"Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs even though checkered by failure, than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much because they live in the gray twilight that knows neither victory nor defeat." -Theodore Roosevelt-

Isnt it amazing how many people post without reading the thread?

It's not odd, it's deliberate.

U.S. major media spoon feeds news to Americans so that they can dictate and control public opinion.

The communist affiliated major media outlets are indoctrinating the general public to generalized ignorance the same way the education system is indoctrinating our children.

You won't see anything on American news that hasn't gone through a socialist filter.

Government office attracts the power-mad, yet it's people who just want to be left alone to live life on their own terms who are considered dangerous.

History teaches that it's a small window in which people can fight back before it is too dangerous to fight back.

FW, we are all entitled to our fantasies.
The problem for some is that "mainstream media" such as the three main networks, the Associated Press, Reuters and BBC -- tell us things we don't want to hear, while the rightwing sources, such as Breitbart and Fox -- tell rightwingers what they do want to hear.
That old "commie MSM" stalwart ABC covered the stabbings adequately. https://abcnews.go.com/International/mu ... d=71364601
Me, I don't care to be spoon-fed only what I want to hear. I prefer to READ (not listen to or view) the news from several sources and make my own decision as to what to believe. I read Reuters and the BBC religiously.
So that's my moderate/responsible fantasy, but then I am a retired newspaper editor with a great deal of respect for what the MSM once was in the days before righty/lefty designer spoon-feed news sources and Internet lies took over.

It works... just like gun control... for the true intended purpose of disarming law-abiding people and leaving them as defenseless prey to the scum of society.
