New Holster & Belt

Post by NC Long Rifle »

As much as anything, I wanted to attempt attaching a picture to a post.

I finished this holster and belt this week. In it is my Uberti '73 Colt clone, 5.5" barrel, 45LC. The gun has had a trigger job and a worn/antique finish applied. Shoots a bit high and to the right, but I really like shooting it.

Looks good to me. Of course it’s on the wrong side so I won’t Ask if I can have it . Truly good job!

I suppose that is what the blanket is supposed to represent and now that I think of it, I got it in a trade. It's a very thin wool with blanket stitching on the ends. Don't know the brand as there is not tag. I thought it might make a decent rifle cover, but I really don't want to cut it up. I do like it as a photo backdrop and have used it many times.

I love the old time look of that holster and belt. Nice work . . 8)

Looks good. I like that it does not hang low like a Hollywood gunfighter rig. That ought to be useful even on horseback.
