GP 100

I was paging thru my copy of Paco's book that he printed a few nights ago reading up on some .357 Magnum information. In the book Paco says that Ruger Blackhawk has a longer cylinder than the S&W N frames do. I was wondering if anyone might know how the GP 100 rates in this? Is the GP 100 as long as the Blackhawk?

I don't have a .357 Blackhawk. Interesting bit of information.

My GP100 measures 1.608”, while my RBH measures 1.640”. Both are 357 Mag.

Incidentally, my Old Model Vaquero in 45 Colt measures 1.700”.

Thanks, so I guess that means my N frame would be longer than the GP 100. Generally a thought if you're going to be pushing heavier bullets that are stepping right along.
