I can see the point in keeping a good stock of primers and they take up a lot less room than toilet paper...
I checked my ammo the other day and I'm running out of everything...
If more men loved and cherished their wives as much as I love bacon the world would be a much better place.

If I was down to 500 primers I would have a severe case of the heebie jeebies. I usually keep 10-20 thousand on hand. Am older guy who is getting out of reloading just sold me another 5000 and 14 pounds of powder.

i want another pistol. looking around at the local gun shops. half of them are closed and some that are open I just don't deal with because of attitudes, lack of modern services , or high prices. i want a used ruger 22/45. Nowhwre to be found, and the ones i see are priced higher then new from private sellers. I can sit it out till things get back to normal and prices drop and used guns come back on the shelfs. Used gun shelfs are empty.

I can't recall the last time I got below 5,000 primers? 500 primers would put me in panic mode. Heck 500 of each size would put me in panic mode!

Ammo and loading supplies are like money.
The more you have, the more you think you need. And, if you don't think you can replace it, you don't want to use it no matter how much you have.
At least for me. :D

But yeah, 500 primers.......I can feel my skin crawl just saying it. :D
"Oh bother", said Pooh, as he chambered another round.
