Fascinating story thanks for posting 8) would make a great movie if it was done historically accurate ( something Hollywood rarely does ).
If more men loved and cherished their wives as much as I love bacon the world would be a much better place.

Thanks for checking it out. Yeah, it really would. Westerns are still my favorite movies and I enjoy when they come out with a new one that is done like a real western and not some comedy or other Hollywood garbage like the Lone Ranger and several others were.

The Old West had some interesting times and places. Kansas was also the location of the gunfight that Louis L'Amour used as the basis for his novel Flint. I was born and raised about 150 miles West of Medicine Lodge, but have never been there. My home town got its name because the first person there allowed Wagon Trains to fill their water barrels from his well. He was mighty liberal with his water as they used to say.

I used to get that too but it was mostly filled with ads at that time so I stopped.
