Need a chuckle or two? Might as well laugh as cry ...

Post by Bill in Oregon »

Made me laughm anyway.

Dear Tax Payer,

Sometimes this year, we taxpayers will again receive another economic stimulus payment.
Have to keep laughing

It is indeed a very exciting program, and I’ll explain it by using a Q&A format:

Q: What is an Economic Stimulus payment?
A: It is money that the federal government will send to taxpayers.

Q: Where will the government get this money?
A: From taxpayers.

Q: So the government is giving me back my own money?
A: Only a smidgen of it.

Q: What is the purpose of this payment?
A: The plan is for you to use the money to purchase a high definition television set, a new iPad, or a new SUV, thus stimulating the economy.

Q: Isn’t that stimulating the economy of China?
A: Shut up.

Below is some helpful advice on how to best help the U. S. Economy with and your stimulus check wisely:

* If you spend the stimulus money at Walmart the money will go to China or Sri Lanka.
* if you spend it on gasoline, your money goes to the Arabs.
* if you purchase a computer, it goes to India,Taiwan or China.
* if you purchase fruits and vegetables, it will go to Mexico, Honduras, and Guatemala.
* if you buy an efficient car, it will go to Japan or Korea.
* if you purchase useless stuff, it goes to Taiwan.
* if you pay your credit card off, or buy stock, it will go to the management bonuses and they will hide it offshore.

Instead keep the money in America by:
(1) Spending it at a yard sale, or
(2) Go to a ballgame, or
(3) Spend it on prostitutes, or
(4) Beer, or
(5) Tattoos
(These are the only American businesses still operating in the U.S.)

CONCLUSION: Go to a ballgame with a tattooed prostitute that you met at a yard sale and drink beer all day.

The conclusion, brings back alot of memories. I must be OLD because I'm trying to decide between a Lefever 12 gauge SxS or a left handed, wood stocked, open sighted, 1-12" twist and very UN-TACTICAL Savage model 11 in 223 Todd/3leg
30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres

250 Savage... its what the 223 wishes it could be...!

Hmmm. I agree with the conclusion being the best choice, but I would have chosen an old floozie over a hooker. But with my age creeping up on me, a new pistol looks pretty good...

I'm using my stimulus check for food and reloading supplies! I'd use it for guns if there were any gun shows, or gun shops to buy them!

Sounds like the UK except we do get nothing back, it went in back handers to the most expensive engineering projects in the world that are utterly useless!
