See you guys later....I'm retiring and building a mansion....

#1 Post by AJMD429 » Wed Mar 25, 2020 2:59 pm

I got great and unexpected news, but I've sent them all my personal information and bank account stuff, and expect I'll be buying that Beachfront Property soon.... 8) 8) 8)

I'll share the news:

Dear Sir ,

Mr. Abdul Haider Jameel ,An Oil Contractor From Syria Made a Fixed Deposit of $14.7 Million in Our Bank ( BOA ). Our Bank Has Made Several Efforts to Locate Him Since The Maturity of the Deposit , But Recently Found Out that He Died with His Entire Family in Syria War leaving Behind No Next of Kin to the Deposit .

Therefore I am Contacting You to Present You as The Next of Kin/ Beneficiary to Claim The Abandoned Funds. There is Practically No Risks Involved in this Transaction , It is 100% Risk Free and Shall Be Legally Bonded, All You Need do is to Stand as the Beneficiary to the Deposit For a Proper Wire to Your Account .If you Find This Proposal Suitable For you, get Back For Full Details and Procedures .

Note : The Percentage Ratio is thus: 40% for you , 60 % for me and my colleagues .

Regards .

Ms Maria Idemba
Manager Boa -Ci

I forwarded to a former business partner, and told him

"Hey, I know you've been having some hard times, but I still had some of your bank info, and your social security number, so I took the liberty of sending YOUR information to the nice gentleman, because I figured you could really use a break... I hope it works out as well as our previous business relationship did...!!!"

That's nothing, I just received a letter from the "Negotiations Department" about a class action settlement that will reduce my credit card debt by half. The firm that sent this remains unnamed.

Like Pisgah said, push for the 50/50 deal.
Then ask them to wire you the first $100,000 as a show of good faith, before you proceed.
As to whether people still fall for these things, some fools will fall for anything.

I got one of those about 10 years ago....

I responded asking them if they wanted to exchange nude photos.

Oddly, I have not heard back from them...

I got one a while back. Told them my new address was 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. I wonder if they ever tried to follow up on that.
