Tom Brady #12 -- "Goodbye to Patriots and Boston"
OK, I'll admit it...
When Tom Brady #12 was very good, I wanted him to stay with the Patriots...
But when he had a bad play, a bad game or a so-so season, I was OK if he did leave...
Well. So now he's going elsewhere...
I just read this online and I think it's appropriate:
"Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened."
Check out these stats:
6X Super Bowl Champion!
4X Super Bowl MVP!
3X NFL's MVP!
Or these stats:
Playoff Wins Among QBs, All-time:
30- Tom Brady
29-
28-

26-
25-

16- Joe Montana
15-
14- Terry Bradshaw, John Elway, Peyton Manning
13- Brett Favre, Ben Roethlisberger
12-
11- Troy Aikman, Roger Staubach
10- Joe Flacco, Aaron Roders
See ya Tom. Watching the Pats just won't be the same, but thanks for all the memories.

THAT'S GOOD STUFF . . .
I wanted Tom to get another ring or two
somehow the Patriots couldn't assemble a football team that could make that happen.
(am I the only one who thought they looked distracted and sleepy?)
but I'm glad that I got to watch him do what he does.

He was always a class act a great competitor and I never could hate the Guy , but like all the rest it's just business and the Patriots must not been willing to shell out enough $$ to keep Him. His net worth is $180 million and I hope that He and they wife can live on it. anymore I could care less about most sports , bunch of crybaby's and whiners making $$ that none of us could ever imagine .

My take on it is this...
Both Brady and Coach Belichick want to prove to Bob Kraft, to the team and to the whole NFL . . .
That "THEY" are the reason for all the Patriots past successes.
I wouldn't want to see them both stumble and fail without the other, but what if "1 + 1 = 3" is true, and they can't do it without the other ? ? ?

The 4 PM news on TV says he's coming to Tampa. If he does something with this team he'll be making chicken salad out of chicken poop.

Re: Tom Brady #12 -- "Goodbye to Patriots and Boston"
40 MILLION a year salary is just BS! There is no reason why sports figures , actors should be paid any different that those of us that get paid for doing real work. When was the last time a carpenter got 40 million a year? A teacher? A truck driver? These people are no better than anyone else and this is exactly why I have no intrest in sports of Howyweird.
Give them a salary that's equal to the prevailing wage in their city, if the win a season great!- let the owner give bonuses , see how hard they try then.

Re: Tom Brady #12 -- "Goodbye to Patriots and Boston"
11:00 news here in Tampa on the Fox station showed a computer generated picture of Brady they say was released by the NFL. Think of it moving to a state with no state income tax, that's a raise right there.
