"Merry Stainless, and a Happy New Kahr!"

"Merry Stainless, and a Happy New Kahr!"

Day before Christmas... Last-minute shopping trip... I added this stainless MK9 to my stable of stainless 9's from Kahr.

Yes, the Kahr stainless models do weigh more than the P series, but I shoot them much better and can handle the extra weight with a good holster and belt. The K9 (on left) has fiber-optic sights and a laser-grip, so that resides upstairs for any "bump in the night" events (along with a super-bright SureFire flashlight), while the T9 (on right) will be used for winter carry, and the newly added MK9 (at top, 1998 vintage) will be my daily carry when I need something smaller.

Kahr's do not get the recognition they deserve. Darn nice pistols.

Woo! Very nice! I've never owned one, but really like the feel of several.
I shot a CM9 one time and was impressed with it.

Stainless steel Kahr pistols have always appealed to me but I've never had a chance to fire one. They look to be well made and while I'd probably opt for the K9, I'd be curious as to how the durability and reliability of the MK9 is.

I have shot the CW9, and it is accurate and reliable. I would hazard a guess that the all stainless ones are equal or better. I would not mind having one.

I don't have any of the top-end kahrs but once endeavored to collect all three sizes of all four calibers of the "C" series.....

I keep my eyes open for the ones in the low $200 range and have never given over $250 for one as yet but might have to get my fat a** off of my wallet to finish the collection.....seems like I have six or seven yet to go and all of those are well over $300......
