Brown busty Bess was at it again today.
She shnaffled 2oz of 22 long rifle bullets with ease!

We were ready for anything but I could no pass on this stalked buck rabbit, it was a little tricky with all the brash.

Check the pan, it has a bullet I found on the ground near the rabbit.
It was a grand day, a cold wind and some occasional welcomed sun.
We rested some and watched the squirrels.

Old Bess got me two cracking buck rabbits today with unorthodox ammo, what's not to like? 8)

I love the improvised ammo 8) it's amazing what you can do with old technology that would be a lot more difficult to do with today's more modern scatter guns. I once read that a Brown Bess would be the best survival firearm after a total Apocalypse ….
If more men loved and cherished their wives as much as I love bacon the world would be a much better place.

Unorthodox? Yes. Effective? Yes. Wrong? HaHaHa, not in the least! Looks as if you and Jess had a good day. All I saw yesterday was a computer screen and about a million pills and a couple thousand pieces of paper.
