Won myself a bow!

Post by Mainehunter »

Got a call around lunch time from someone at a fund raiser and said my name got picked! Never won anything so I'm pretty excited. The bow is a Bowtech Revolt series and I can pick what model I want and color so that's pretty cool. I haven't shot bows in like 30 years and it was just for recreation but for the past few years I've been toying around to get one for archery season plus I have quite a few friends that have switched over or extended their chances for deer hunting. All I need now is pick up a sight, bow release and some arrows! :)

You won a fine bow. Bowtech makes some really good stuff. If I were going to resume archery hunting, the Revolt would be near the top of my list. Congratulations!

Bows shoot arrows just fine without sights or a bow release. Admittedly, it takes more practice, but one can slay a deer without either. That Revolt looks like no bow I've ever shot, but congratulations on your luck.

Hmmm...saw 'bowl' instead of "bow!".
Congratulations, anyway.

Nice!
I've always thought about getting into archery. My grandfather was quite a bow shot. I just have all I can do to keep up with my guns. Keeps me from starting something new.
I see next year they are allowing crossbows in archery season. That should be interesting.
