I saw this on a re-run of "Peter Gunn" an old detective show from the 50's. I thought it was quite interesting to see just what the latest technology was during the Cold War...

Looks like a first generation sub gun. Wooden stock and drum mag. Can’t see it clear enough to tell which one. Wouldn’t have been state of the art in the fifties.
