Went to a store for black powder and asked if they had any shot. I got offered this old ammo box with all sorts of lead in it. I snapped it off him!

Worked out good. Several pounds of #6-#7&1/2 shot and thousands of 177 , 22 and .25 air gun pellets.

So there you go, that's what I've been up to :D

Yes Nath, you are a blessed man. My wife worked in a hospital that remodeled the X-ray room. I got most of the lead they replaced.

Great find there. Nath, we used to use lots of 6 and 7 1/2 shot on pheasant out in the Llano Estacado of Western Kansas. Those 2 sizes worked great on Chinese Ringneck and Hungarian Blue without tearing up the meat. I never was much good with a shotgun due to having to close one eye so that I could figure out where to point the gun. Not having a dominant eye makes shotgunning difficult. Dad and his friend Bruce (no he was not Australian) were good shots. They usually went 4 pheasant for 4 shots. We baked the pheasant in a mushroom soup or gravy most of the time.
