Maybe some of you who own those might be interested....or not....
I do know that out-of-battery discharges can SUCK, even with the lowly 22 LR....
Maybe a solution looking for a problem, but I don't own one...

I have had both a 66 & 73 Uberti, never noticed a problem that needed fixing .
If more men loved and cherished their wives as much as I love bacon the world would be a much better place.

There is one possible advantage in a timed match where you have X number of targets and X number of rounds loaded but counting rounds and discipline would take care of that issue. What if you are a hunter or plinker and don't fire a full mag? You have to lower the hammer on every round in turn to empty the gun and that doesn't sound too safe to me.

Another gimmick.
Joe
How does one eject a live round to clear the action then? Lower the hammer on the live round then work the action? To me this is a stupid gimmick to scam money from shooters.Lever lock is designed for 1873 Uberti or 1866 Uberti rifles to prevent unintentional opening of action before trigger is pulled. Lever Lock prevents a live round from being ejected and greatly diminishes chances of an out of battery discharge.
