Doctors for Sensible Gun Laws
"first do no harm" - gun control LAWS lead to far more deaths than 'easy access' ever could.

I think the program should be accessible by all citizens though, since the FFL's, by virtue of being 'licensed', are still potentially able to be coerced by the government to do improper things with the information THEY may gather for sales/warranty/liability purposes, or for the 4473 if that is not eliminated (and good luck with trying to get that accomplished). At least with individuals, the sale could indeed be 'checked out' if that makes do-gooders happy, but there would be no big 'bound book of sales records' to harvest.

Interesting system. That list would need continual updating -- hourly.
When I was involved in retail firearms transfers, we were told to be prepared to preserve 4473s for 20 years.
