Just got to meet Gunnymack

Post by fordwannabe »

I was fortunate enough to meet up with GunnyMack today. He was in my neck of the woods for a ZZ bird shoot and we met in the parking lot of a store, about 8 miles from my house. I had a good time and enjoyed it a lot (I would have said immensely but then I would be accused of being too cultured). Very good guy! I hope we can meet up again soon and break bread together. Thanks for waiting for me, Gunny.

Lots of good guys here on the forum; if we all lived in the same township or county we could probably secede and form our own big-league nation...! :D

Cool!

Every one of the Leverguns family I've met has been great! Rjohns94, Vance, FredW, Joe Miller and Mrs. Miller, Jeremy Reed, Sheepman Dave( who I wish would check in someday. Super guy! I lost his info when my last computer crashed.), CRS and Ricky Krodle, both complete gentleman! I used to have a lot of conversations with 86er, but apparently he's fallen off the map. Even Old Ironsights and his tinfoil hat was a pleasure to meet with his lovely wife :D . I was fortunate enough to spend a weekend in PA at a Silhouette shoot with John Kort before he passed. What a gentleman and a great time I won't forget. Piller was at a couple of those TX hog shoots too and was an interesting guy to talk to as well.

Oh great now I'm famous!
Was a great opportunity for me to meet you as well. Wish we could have stayed there and BS'ed longer! Actually we stayed just long enough as by the time I got to the accident on 78 they had just loaded the cars on the wreckers- 78 was crawling for about 10 miles!
How's the brisket?
Thanks for letting me see MY Marlin 25-20! Really like that .33 too!
We will have to try for a gun show or something also.

Oh man! Once again everybody ELSE gets to do the cool stuff. Gunny does seem like more of a Pa guy than a Jersey boy.---6

Oh the brisket was HORRIBLE! I bet you’re glad you didn’t have to have any. 11 hours at 230 degrees just awful.
