Yep, I have two Winchester Trappers. My 1980 30-30 and my 1985 .45 Colt.
They are two I will never voluntarily part with.

For some reason trapper length leverguns just don’t feel right to me. And rifle length seems to long. But short rifle or carbine length are just right.

I feel cramped on a trapper. I know that doesn’t make sense but there you have it.

A trapper would be a dandy HD piece if you live out in the sticks.
If more men loved and cherished their wives as much as I love bacon the world would be a much better place.

No deer or hog has ever refused to die just because the bullet was launched from my .30Win Trapper.

Government office attracts the power-mad, yet it's people who just want to be left alone to live life on their own terms who are considered dangerous.

History teaches that it's a small window in which people can fight back before it is too dangerous to fight back.

Trappers are cool. I have a bunch of em in different calibers, from 44-40 to 32WS.
That being said, if restricted to one carbine, it would be a 20".
