Man this thread is killin Me...the Farmer across the street mowed about 2 acres of grass and the yard was always beautiful .He had a monster of a reel mower , one mounted permanently in front of the engine with two side reels that would fold up to store. I wish I could remember the name on it but the last time I saw it was about 50 years ago....

In my early 20s I worked on golf courses for a few years. Had a lot of seat time running Toro Greens Master triplex and 7 and 9 gang real mowers. The 9 gang mowers would make a cut 22 feet wide if I remember right.

Thanks wolfdog, golf coarse would be a good place to look for mowers.

Picked up this Scott silent with bagger for 30 bucks this morning.

My uncle had one of those. No one touched it. If his wife had even looked like she was maybe, possibly thinking about getting on it he'd have divorced her on the spot.

Lenn, I've still got one of those seats that goes behind, no wheels any more but most of the rest. I think this went behind a Gravely with a sickle bar mower on it. Got that too but not in good condition. I keep too much junk. Like, why do I have 5 tractors? Yeah, they all run and get used at least once each year but I could get by with one and change implements like normal people but sometimes it's nice to fire up the one that's already hooked up and just mow or split fire wood or stack brush.

Wow! Bagger and all!
Hey Pitchy, my lawn needs mowing. Why don't you strap that puppy to the old Shovelhead and take a ride over to mow my lawn. :D
You can leave the Shovel here and I will pay your airfare home, Haha. :D
Nice one, buddy!

Haha well played, my friend!
One thing for sure, with that stupid Jeep at your place, you'd never want for projects or stuff to keep you busy! :D
