Oh I was bad.

Post by fordwannabe »

I was a very bad boy today details to follow but the numbers 1886 33, 1894 25/20 and 1895 30-40 may give a clue as to how bad I was.

Nice! You got the right chambering in that 95!
Is it a 92 25-20, or a 94 25-35?

Oh ok! A MARLIN 94.

I've been bad like that before so I understand. To help you maintain domestic tranquility I will allow you to store them here at my home at least untill you have taken your wife out for a fancy meal and bought her an expensive set of earrings. My wife has no problem with that arrangment as I'm constantly bringing guns home to store for my friends. :D

Hey! The 86 was a highway robbery....in fact, they all were. The 86 is a seldom seen full length mag. .. :D the sight itself is worth a deuce. :D The 95 has a special order shotgun butt.

You did well young man! You are the second best of all of my pupils. I'm proud of you!----your mentor---6

All joking and BS aside that means much to me. Thanks Jack. I am a pretty excited guy and Jack knows what I paid for them so if he says it was a good deal I consider that Gospel.

Tom....that's HOW I taught you to buy good guns. :D ...by "HR". And that don't mean "human relations"....it means "highway robbery". You have graduated with an "A" in your final exam by knowing the differences between a "retail price", a "good price", a "cheap price", and "highway robbery". Good deed!

You are on your way to accomplishing your doctorate and by that I mean that you no longer have to go look for guns....they come to you! See? The phone rings, you go and get it.....and you get it with a highway robbery price, like that Marlin you got not too long ago.

Keep working on your thesis and you will get your "doctor title" when you get what I have, that giant funnel in the sky that automatically drops fine U.S. made classics right to your door with the highway robbery price but.....and it's a BIG but......there is only ONE funnel and currently I am the owner.

Just look at what the funnel dropped off a few days ago....right to the front door.....the only thing I had to do was open the door to a big smile.....a handful of original 44-60 Sharps, a dozen minty 45-70 military inside benet primed all with the same headstamp from March 1882, (about $40...each) and another handful of black powder 44 Russians.----your teacher/mentor----Dr. 6

Thanks Jack I thought the 86 was worth about what I paid for the group. And no you can’t have it!
That is one heavy ax 25/20. I had to remove the scope to do it but both takedown come apart and no wobble in-neither one. Joints are tight. I gotta get some 30/40 ammo before Tuesday though. Tuesday’s are range day.
