I like the roading or freighting engines whichever you wanna call them that were being used in this video . I also like their plowing steam engines they’d use a pair of BIG engines with winches under the barrels of the boilers and cable the plows back and forth across the fields . I however never cared much for what the Brits called Showman’s steam traction engines , they were the ones covered in lights with a decent sized generator on top the barrel of the boiler .

Nothing against the crowd across the pond but I like American steam traction engines a bit more . But then I used to own several Frick steam engines that were made in Waynesboro PA .Oh and not one of the engines I used to own , just a YouTube vid . https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=zwspNFBg9Lw

Thanks for posting Bill,
It's always good to see that at least some Brits know how to get things done the old way.
My step grandfather was a traction engine driver and my dad always had a passion for steam power, so as a kid I got to see a lot of traction engines. I can even remember seeing steamrollers working on the highway back in the 50s.
I also enjoyed the video of the steam ploughing, thanks 6pt. my step grandfather did a lot of contract ploughing that way.
If more men loved and cherished their wives as much as I love bacon the world would be a much better place.
