Nice job pard. I always wondered why someone couldn't use an old school steam engines like that to drive small generators for around the house.

Does the big wheel drive a belt to drive whatever it drives?

Thanks guys, no pulleys they didn`t have enough power for anything but pumping water which they did a good job.
The lower end is hot and the well water went through a jacket on the top which made the temp. difference for it to run.
No steam just heating and cooling air which goes back and forth from top to bottom ect.
In later years they improved to the point they could get some useful power from.

Now Lenn, I really enjoyed getting my head around how that engine works. I'm betting your rendition has better materials and greater precision than the originals. Really operates well.
