Some new sixgun stuff

Post by 2ndovc »

Didn't want to step on Jay's new grip post.

Got a couple packages yesterday, one from VZ Grips and one from Midway.

Been waiting for awhile for both of these. The moon clips were back ordered and the grips were special order.
Really like the feel of the new grips on the 610. It came with a set of rubberish grips that were too big and just didn't feel right or look right.
Much better now.

I have a real weakness for round butt, N frames!
There's a dark red tint to them, it's hard to see in this picture. I'll have to take it outside and get a good photo in the sun. If we ever see it again!

I think that just might make the cut for a "perfect packin' pistol".

Better picture in the sun.

They both make great trail guns. My favorites usually start with a .4! :D

Maybe I'm doing it wrong, but those smooth grips sure are slippery when wet....The ones with the finger grooves are perfect.

I've never had a RB N frame but as much as I've liked the J frame and the K frame RBs I'll bet it would be great. I love those N frames.

It does. I missed out getting an original run of the 610s and was thrilled to see S&W brought them back. I have/ had several Smiths with the trigger locks and have yet to have an issue. I haven't shot the 10mm as much as my S&W TRR8 but I've run some really heavy loads through that one with no problem. Both have excellent triggers as well.
