I like this guys idea of plinking

My first 12 gauge was similar to this one and I'm getting another just because I can but I won't be plinking with 3" magnums.....

As I get older I feel myself trending more and more to simple firearms.

They were having a lot of fun -- except for the magnum loads.

On you tube he also has a great vid on using a snubby 38 for sd. Good video, and good shooting.

I too like simple arms. Lynn Thompson has some great ideas and techniques for the single shotgun in his video Never Unarmed. For those that can only have a single shot.

Nath, ZRUS Outdoors has a bunch of videos on single shots and chamber adapters.
30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres

250 Savage: The Original short action, compact, high velocity cartridge.
