S&W 1917 45 ACP of course.

Post by M. M. Wright »

This is one of my favorites. I have either a shoulder rig or IWB for it and it is easily concealed on my fat body. Full moon clips make for quick and easy reloads. Whoever did the alterations did a nice job after making good choices about what mods to use. 3 1/2 inch bbl is just right and the old action is very smooth.

This is the kind of responses that I was looking for on my recent big-bore snub nosed revolver thread.

Short barrel, big frame revolvers just look right. M.M. how did your gunshow go? Todd/3leg
30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres

250 Savage... its what the 223 wishes it could be...!
