Ohio tornados

Post by JNG »

First post for a day or two. Monday kicked our butts. Had 4 tornados with less miles ~1 from our house. I have some to post, but I do not want to bore you.

Good to know you made it. It's amazing to me the death toll wasn't way higher.

I'm south of you, near Wilmington (south of Xenia)

Bank my daughter works for collected a pickup bed full of aid items, everything from diapers, plastic tubs of toiletries, hangers, blankets.

Actually this was my truck my daughter 'volunteered' me for, we drove it up to a drop off station in Centerville earlier this afternoon.

Tornados scary. Had a few on our property over the years but buildings ok.

That giant one South of Lawrence, KS a few days ago just flattened a couple of small towns. A mile wide EF4 tornado is an ugly sight.

Prayers out to all affected by these tornados recently.

You guys get to have all the fun....it's boring here in S.E. Pa.....no tornados, no earthquakes, no floods, only remnants of hurricanes, no dust/wind storms, seldom a blizzard over a foot.........only thing happening here is a lot of civil disobedience in the inner cities.

Joe, my former in-laws lived in Kettering. I remember visiting Xenia and wondering why it has such a sad tornado history.
Y'all stay safe.
