It was 40 years ago, but when I lived in Terre Haute, they (I forget if it was the mayor or the police chief) were giving out bumper stickers that said "Fight Crime - Shoot Back"...
Doctors for Sensible Gun Laws
"first do no harm" - gun control LAWS lead to far more deaths than 'easy access' ever could.

Remember those Blood on the Highway movies? Maybe it would sink in if the government would rent some billboards and post great big photos of the wounds bad guys have received. Good ones like being gut shot with a shotgun. I'm not talking morgue shots, I'm talking crime scene photos.
