I've seen the episode they are referring to and it was interesting. You guys with more historical knowledge might not agree or might find incorrect things in it, but overall I liked it.

Long video (thirty something) but well worth it.

Good examples showing the evolution of levers, and the contributions John Moses Browning (praise to his name) made to them.
