Many Thanks

Post by Griff »

I wish to extend my thanks to the fine folks of this forum for your support, (no matter how half-hearted), during the past 4 or 5 months. Last Saturday we held my wife's celebration and had many friends and family come by with stories and recollections, as well as those that never had the opportunity to meet her, but dropped by to lend their support and friendship to me and/or my son... (or help consume the free booze), but I wish to especially thank my hunting partners from CA, who drove out, cooked for my family & I for 2 nites, plus the assembled folks for a 3rd evening, former & current co-workers.. and our own RKrodle whose own wound is probably all too raw... and whose willingness to talk and offer those few words of encouragement mean so much.

As one person put it... "Griff, you have a fine bunch of friends..." Amen, I do feel blessed.

And just so we keep this levergun related, I had my Browning 1886 returned to the fold... and as it was a gift from my Diane, it's absence was doubly hard.

God Bless, Griff.

You have good friends, because you're a good man.
Glad your 86 is home.

And may the Good Lord bless you and yours........was talking about you to mom a couple of hours ago......we were cruising down Rt. 41 to pick up the BAR and while passing the truck stop I told her, "that's where Griff and I met before we went to the gunclub." ----6
