Good lookin' bullets Jim. May I take a guess? 350 grain .459?

Lyman #457191 meant for the .45-90 Winchester. I size them down in several steps and use them for Long-Range loads in my Ruger 45 Colt.

Well we know your temp was good, your mold was clean, and your alloy was clean. I am guessing you have done this Once or twice before😳. Yeah yeah I know I was just being funny.

Good looking boolits, Jim.
I, too, did some casting yesterday, breaking in my new Accurate 430-215C mold, designed by our late friend John Kort.
These were out of this-and-that range scrap, sizing to .430 and lubing with Lyman red, for smokeless loads in the .44 WCF rifle.
Not as pretty as yours!

All bullets are pretty.
Some are pretty nice.
Others are pretty awful.
Yours look pretty nice.

I don’t know what you mean about some bullets being pretty awful. I don’t have any bullets that I have cast that look awful. And there is no evidence of my casting bad Bullets. Course I have accidentally dropped a couple of hmm beautiful perfect Bullets back in the pot ACCIDENTALLY. Yup I am sticking with that statement.

There's just something beautiful about a cast bullet.
