Not much parental care there if that was the father or mother taking the video

I'd be the parent who did let the kid play with the snake, but the kid would have hearing protectors on, or ear plugs in, because I'd also be the parent with a camera in one hand and a 45 in the other, in case the reptile misbehaved.

There is atleast one black snake under the washing machine in my utility room . Just haven’t gotten motivated to move the washer and evict the darn thing .

As big as that snake was, I would have been worried that it could have harmed the kid. I would have moved the kid.

I can remember as a youngster getting my but whacked for killing a black snake or two . My grandfather grew up in what is now the Shenandoah National Park , theyvame down before others got evicted . But he used to tell me about copper heads and rattle snakes that would come in their house and my great grandmother killing the poiseness snakes with boiling water etc . But he was adamant about not killing black snakes .

I have a 6' black snake in my shop and NO rats. She is welcome to stay but her offspring get evicted.

I think the anaconda or whatever it is was was digesting a meal, so likely safer than it looks.

Could be a family pet. I doubt even a well fed wild snake would be that docile if some kid was rough handling it like that.
