Lee 429-200RF in .44-40
Wondering if anyone uses this Lee design in their .44-40 leverguns. Is the crimp groove in the right place to give an overall length that feeds in 1866/1873 Winchesters clones?

Bill
not what you need but its a good bullet & I use it in a Colt revolver & a 1894 Marlin, I checked to see if I had any loaded to check OAL but I must have shot them all & now only have the RCBS bullet loaded, I would think it would work in your guns

Thanks olloger. I don't have either rifle, just have the mold and was wondering if it would work.

I have the mould in 6-cavity. Have loaded bunches for my Rossi and given my friend Larry bunches which he shoots in his new Henry (original Henry configuration) and they fit fine.
Seems like a perfect bullet for the application. They come out about 205 grains cast from wheelweight metal from my mould.
