That is strange, isn't it....

....I'm still wondering why the pictures of the hand-grenades on the lower part of the poster. Did he invent those too...?

Amazing how enduring the M2 50 Cal is - I'll bet it is still in use a hundred years from now. Kind of like many of his other inventions - they just WORK....!

When I was a young man getting into the collecting/investing game there were guns "I just HAD to have". It was decades before I knew who was the inventor was on most of these guns "I had to have". Probably 85% of these guns came from good ole John.....he sure had the "eye" for that smooth look with classy lines which became so desirable.--6

There are some amazing firearms there. Is it any wonder that John Moses Browning is held in such high regard?

Ah, yes! Thoughts from the famous amphibian of the deserts of Southern Arizona. His wise and witty sayings section is rather good. I have stolen some of those sayings from time to time.

John had the ability to design those complicated systems in his head before ever drawing it out or cutting steel.
Have you ever taken down ,completely, an auto five or an1897 ? He also had to contend with manufacturing processes of the day. You have to design parts that can be made with existing tooling.
