This is obviously an 'investment opportunity' advertisement, but the technology intrigued me in the same way the 'rail-gun' technology does.
Particularly if there is a way to launch projectiles (satellites, etc.) into space, especially if they can be launched or maneuvered into a stable orbit, without the huge fuel cost and attendant safety issues.
Maybe some of the more physicist and technologic folks on here have an idea if this will really be a 'thing' in the 21st Century, or not.
Interesting technology......maybe.....

Question is can it be used to launch freshmen congressmen/senators into orbit so they can get a good look at the atmosphere?
