Hi,
I am returning here under a new username. I have 3 Marlin® leverguns...
• Marlin® 336C 30/30 Winchester® circa 1976
• Marlin® Mdl 444T in 444 Marlin® circa 1966
• Marlin® Mdl 444SS in 444 Marlin® circa 1986

So glad to be back after a decade absence.

I just checked and found my oldest post was back in 2007... Maybe older, but that's as far back as it went...

My wife has a Marlin 336C. It is as accurate as most bolt action rifles at 100 yards. My 336W is decent, but not like the old 336C.

I retired in 2001 and signed in then , but when Leverguns was redone in 2007 everyone is dated then.

Welcome back. I always like to see people with 444 Marlins. It is a very practical cartridge and an excellent firearm...!
