Post by Old No7 »

Sounds just like my old dog (RIP) -- and my wife's older cats (long gone and forgotten!) :)

You might like this book....it's for children, but I was 45 when I read it, and loved it... (I'm still sort of childish, though...)

I have observed on the interwebs, that subjects dealing with dogs are cute and lovable.
Subjects dealing with cats are mean and threatening.
Could this be a co-inky-dink? Methinks not!

Many years ago the "mad cat lady" joined this forum and let us know that she was not pleased by the attitude of some Levergunners towards cats on this forum and never posted again..

At the risk of my comment being misunderstood, I was thinking of the diff between cat memes and dog memes.
I had to put down my last house panther of 14 years on 31 Dec.
I have no hard feelings either way, and oh yeah, I fully understand the humor of the cat/dog diaries. 8)

When my erstwhile Boston Terror (not a misspelling :P ) unexpectedly passed at only 8 YO, I was inconsolable for a year or more. When my Mother passed last summer, she was 93 and I looked at it as the natural cycle of things and while somber, I didn't "lose it".
