Browning Nountain Rifle -- value?

Post by Ray Newman »

Colleagues: I have a new in the box and unfired Jonathan Browning Mountain Rifle, .50 calibre, brown iron. Bought when Midway had a close out sale on the Browning muzzleloaders probably 35 years ago.

Been searching the auction sites and shooting boards as to what it might be worth, but the listings are anywhere from 7-12 years old!

Would appreciate it if anyone who has a reasonably current Blue Book would check its value? Time to start cleaning out the big safe....

.

In the right venues, it would move in a New York Minute @ $800 ($799 ;) )
