Monday sarcastic joke

Post by 3leggedturtle »

A day early... :P

How did the coffee get strong?

By doing the French Press.......

I just learned the Browning Hi-Power has a magazine disconnect and capacity of 13 instead of 17, because of the French.... Todd/3leg
30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres

And I do use a French Press daily for my caffiene fix...

At one time (late 80's?), CDNN was selling S. African mags that were 17 capacity.

I got a couple, wish I had more.

Full disclosure, I have an ongoing love affair with the Highpower

Yea, those darned French. Why without them we'd still be kneeling to the queen. How dare they?

And without us, they'd be speaking Russian as a second language, or perhaps German.

Very true.......I presently know people who live in France and from what they told me two days ago, they will be speaking Arabic in a few years......and there's nothing they can do about it......contrary to what the news tells us, the French Yellow Vests are taxed to the point where they have little to live on...and guess who is getting that tax revenue?.........----6

A man of taste and distinction.... :D

I like the design of the HiPower better than the 1911 in many ways - and that says
NOTHING BAD about the 1911! I like that, too.

A long time ago I carried a 1911 pretty much daily. I came across a Hi Power and thought the idea of a larger magazine sounded good. I liked it. It fit my hand.

After a bit though, I came to realize that with the available ammunition the effectiveness of the .45 acp far outshone the .9 mm. Thus I returned to the 1911 and haven’t looked back.
