I`ve seen a couple similar ones but not that one, he did a nice job on it runs great.
I`ve thought of building one over the years but haven`t got around to it, pretty cool thanks for posting Grizz. 8)

Now that's pretty cool! 8) I love to see articles like that when people use their imagination especially when it has to do with steam power. I've been working on steam sterilizers, steam generators/boilers for the past 20 year.

thanks for the responses! unfortunately I completely missed out on steam. love the history and the sounds.

that bike is cool without the steam plant. I've never pedaled a recumbent. prolly fall asleep.

I love to see what people can make. that little engine would power a sailboat like mine just fine. He said something about getting steam up in 5 minutes? How does that work?

Also looks like there's no steam recovery, is that correct? If so, I wonder what the water consumption would be?

Have a great evening and for you in the real winter, don't forget to zip up, OK? :)

Grizz it`s what they call a flash boiler, there is no bulk water in the tank only copper tubes that the water is pumped through.
They were used in boats mostly as the water could be pumped out of the lake through the boiler and back in the lake.
They do use this type in commercial steam cleaners too.
Get to building Grizz. :)
