Hi Point breaks new ground at SHOT show

Post by wm »

You gotta be patient to watch this video because of the lengthy intro ……… or you can skip the first two minutes of fluff.

(Cue deep baritone announcer voice) If you like the old Hi Point C-9, then you'll love the new updated C-9 Gen 2

P.S. Meh ……… whatever. They fill a niche in the market. I'm just not interested in that niche.

Not my cup of tea, but from everything I've seen and read they are reliable and solid....warranted for life.
I once gave 75 bucks for one from a buddy that needed the money and sold it pretty quick for a hundred bucks. The old owner and new owner had nothing put praise for it.

It's a HI-POINT...I guess it's new...so, it's a new Hi-Point, kind-of...ok what's next...
I've always looked at Hi-Points as a paper-weight that shoots, and they are
reliable and somewhat accurate for a paper-weight... :)

From the video's description:

"...with new tactical features like threaded barrels, forward slide serrations, interchangeable backstraps, and perhaps most notably, a double stack 10 round flush fit magazine. Dave runs down the new improvements..."

Um, excuse me -- where's the NEW GROUND ? ?

Attention Hi Point -- Those "new improvements" aren't new................................

Just sayin'...

Where the heck would you ever use a big old clunky 9mm like that? I don't see anything new, even for Hi Point. New for them would be something you could conceal without carrying a suitcase to conceal it in!
