The Standard Mfg, Model S333, a double-barreled .22-Magnum revolver that shoots 2 rounds with each trigger pull ! !

interesting.

I'm curious about it but i'm not sure it is something I would warm up to. I see the utility of it as a 'belly gun' and besides the two projectiles the expanding gas from two 22 magnums at contact range would tear up a lot of soft tissue but I've always felt that once you are talking about contact like that I would rather rely on a knife. Maybe I'm wrong in my thinking. I'm certainly no expert.

Kinda neato......I'd like to see a levergun made like that. Then when I'm competing in silhouette matches I'd have two chances of knocking down the animal without anyone noticing I'm shooting more than the five rounds in each string.

Is that thing for real? It would give a defensive gun new meaning on the term,"double tap".--The Count

I saw this a few hours ago on facebook. I know Std. Mfg. builds some quality stuff but I'm not sure I would shell out for one of these.

I would think that the bores would be parallel, and not set to a converging POI at some distance, like a SxS shotgun/rifle does.

Yeah, it's real, Six - just new.

It even has a 2-finger trigger...…………..

Snubby 22 mags have a VERY loud report and a VERY large fire ball. This will double that, so if you miss you might be able to light them on fire and deafen them (and you).
I know a whole lot about very little and nothing about a whole lot.

I have one of the NAA Mini revolvers in 22 Mag, and it is too lout to shoot without ear protection. 2 rounds at the same time would seem to me to be loud enough to hurt. At close range interpersonal crisis distance, I could see a use for it. I try to avoid those situations.

So what's with the trigger guard or aborted attempt at same?

Honestly one can manipulate a revolver trigger fast enough that you could fire two rounds from a regular revolver fast enough. I doubt you'd see any additional damage doing it two at once and you'd reduce your available shots if needed.

A short barrel .38 with light Keith style bullets driven fast would probably not be as loud, and probably more effective. No, I don't care to shoot an attacker just to prove it.

For .38's I still use a HBLWC loaded backwards. Never had one to fail to expand on any media including a few live critters (non-human).

Wonder if they are going to focus on this and go under as a result in much the same way USFA went under in the pursuit of that ridiculous zip gun......

Thanks Harry.
I believe there was a gunsmith or two that made such guns by welding 2 1911's together years ago.
The market for such things has to be pretty small.
