Toy gun buy back.

Post by JerryB »

I just read an article on Fox News about a town on Long Island holding a gun by back for all of the toy guns that they for Christmas this year. It is to teach the proper gun safety.

The mind boggles at the sheer ignorance of such people.

If I lived there I'd be there......I'd use their system like a wet rag like I do around here. I'd go to the nearest 5 & 10 and buy up any junk for .29 and get what they give me.....my guess they are probably offering $10 or more.

I made 1,400 this year alone at one buy back. Over the years, I'm probably around 5 or 6 g's. -----6

Years ago there was a gun buy back in Flint, Michigan and a guy used old plumbing pipes and fittings to fashion 'guns'. He made $3OO IIRC in gift cards to local businesses (mostly gas cards).

I saw all the photos taken of the firearms turned in, not just the ones published in the newspaper.

I could move some of you guys to tears with what I saw. Tears of laughter alternating with tears of anger and resentment.
