One of the best I've seen. Also one of the last the didn't rely on foul language and nudity to sell the story.

One of my favorites!

Told about it by a friend who saw me and one of my brothers (not sure which one) doing the shotguns in the pond scene. Couldn't reasonably argue against it.

I need to look for it. If the whole movie is good, it would make a nice filler for an evening when nothinh else is happening.

That's what I bought my airplane for. Now to find a barn no one is using (have to see the movie first) :mrgreen:

We have watched that movie more than any one we have ever seen. Recovering from this broken leg just might go better watching that movie again.

I wore out a dvd of that movie. The only other movie watched that often is Quigley.

Yeah, Quigley or Quiet Man (my all time favorite) but Second Hand Lions is a great movie. I love my Dad's old model 12 too.

I'm trying to remember the lines at the end of the show.
The young boy said something like "So you mean the men in Grandfathers stories really lived?"
And his father answered "Yes son, they really lived."
