Can't help thinking of Benny Hill chasing scantily clad young ladies when I hear that tune..

That's cool. Good lyrics.

Yes, I think of Benny Hill when I hear that song. I just never knew there were words to it.

A popular piece at one time, even before Benny Hill.

The music came first, the lyrics came later. Mr. Atkins provided that information in his intro.

The original music is from Boot Randolph's Yakkety Sax. At one time Mr. Randolph and Mr. Atkins collaborated on a performance where they traded verses between the saxophone and the guitar.

He was a better picker than he was a singer.

IIRC that song was made famous by Boots Randolph named YACKETY SAX, played on the saxophone. When Chet Atkins played it he renamed it YACKETY AXE.
