Dog is God spelled backwards. We should all try to live a life worthy of our dogs love & devotion.

Yea Gunny...I saw that yesterday. There is one question I have and one to which possibly other circumstances could have prevented it.

As we know, dogs stay close to their owners......OK, there's big fire going on near you.....do you sit and watch Jerry Springer or gather up unreplaceables and everything that lives on oxygen and prepare?

So, unless the people were away at the time...and that would be unusual because if there was a huge fire anywhere near me, I'd be home....so.....why in the F did the dog not accompany their owners to safety?

Yes...extremely common..people think for themselves and leave the helpless to fend for themselves. ----6

I know, I had the same thought. In my case it would be dogs first then the other stuff and beat feet!

I'll never understand people that leave their animals behind. The rule in our house is get your mom and yourself out, then the dogs. Open the door and call thier names. Don't worry about me. I'll be fine.

I wonder if the WHY is because people do not have a plan for natural disasters?
