Value of Browning Safari??

Post by Booger Bill »

I bought this new on a hell of a half price sale. In the 1970`s or 80`s. It`s in .308 win. What are they going for?

Is that a Redfield 1 3/4 to 5x scope?
30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres

250 Savage... its what the 223 wishes it could be...!

Bill. I don't follow Brownings so I had to look this one up...it's says it's built on a Sako action with the earliest ones on a small ring Mauser action. Looks like about a grand in 90-95% and around 14 in 98%. Forget the scope as to adding value. People use those Redfields for short tomatoe stakes. :D ---6
