Considering the price of crude, $51 a barrel, I think too much.

I'm out of touch with gas prices....as I fill up about once a month I just hand the gal $40-50 , then go back in for my change.

Filled up Mom's Jeep today....87 octane was $2.59 with 89 octane $2.89------6
Hey Six do you run 87 or 89 in your Jeeps? I found my Rubicon really performed better on 89 , if I was going on longer trips I'd run 91 just to bring the MPG up a bit more. My new Dodge says 89 minimum.
89 ALWAYS......For 15 years or so, or about up to when Obama because POTUS, I always ran 93. Some years back, when my son was visiting, he had use of my 89 YJ. After several days, I got behind the wheel and noticed right away the loss of power and after inquiring with him, he said, "yea, I filled it with 87."

89 is good enough as I believe it's wasting money using the high test in a regular engine but I am a firm believer that 89 outdoes 87 every time.----14

I run 89 in my Jeep. My Harley and all small engines get 93.
I run 87 in my truck. Even with 87, that Hemi makes more power than I need.

Diesel was $2.76/gal. in Colorado Springs last week, $3.17/ gal., in Cheyenne, and is running $3.29/gal. in Custer now. Gas is $2.79/gal. in Custer.

In Mozambique the price had come down some .... diesel was about $4.50 a gallon. That's down at least $1 a gallon from 2 years ago.
