Animal Husbandry in Southern New England

.

It looks like the Whitetails are still rutting hereabouts - this was taken on a trail cam, about 300yds from my Son's back door, the night before yesterday.

Somewhere I have video I took of a buck and a doe , the buck mounted the doe not 50 yards off my driveway. Of course that was when we had a lot more deer. Anyhow it's my feeling that yes there are 2 RUTS but they can and will breed for a couple months nonstop.
Just imagine what people capture on trail cams that the public never sees. Lots of strange stuff happens out there!

That’s just like on the Discovery channel. I bet they are quiet, unlike raccoons and cats! Todd/3leg
30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres
