Hop, Hop, Hop, Hop... WHAM! (silence...)

Post by Old No7 »

Actually the "wham" was probably "silent" -- and the l'il bunny never heard it coming...

Ah the wonders of our natural world! If only the bunny huggers could see the natural world for just how it really is- NOT A DISNEY MOVIE!

Now that photo is worth a lot of words. Maybe not 1000 words but at least a fair number.

Had a similar thing happen today, rooster got up, buddy missed it twice and it flew to another field. By the time we got there a hawk had left us a few feathers!

I shot a duck on Humboldt Bay near Arcata many years ago in high school. It landed in a low-water channel in the bay, which was at low tide. When I got near it hoping for a retrieve, a leopard shark called dibs and my duck vanished in a big swirl of saltwater. Darnedest thing.

Honestly that is a really neat picture …… it tells a story without words. I printed that picture off and hung it in my reloading room. I really liked it.
