A very nice find!

Post by pdentrem »

Original Winchester 32-40 cartridge adapter for 32 Short Colt! Unfortunately I sold my 1894 Rifle in 32-40 years ago!

Cool! I didn't know that adapters had been around that long.

Very nice find indeed! Handy when you need to bean a raccoon in the attic, eh?

I used to have about 10 of those adapters for various old calibers. Never had any good accuracy with them, but they were still pretty neat items. I think most were offered by Marbles, but been too long to recall what makings mine had. I sold them all to a collector, but wish I'd kept them now.
