That takes some skill. 18 yards is better than 50 yards with a tricked out all modern setup.

Nice bow indeed and shootin, i never got a chance to hunt with my long bow but shot several with a BowTech Liberty.
Here`s my bow made by a Texan named Hornes, bamboo backed.

Just one question: "How did you get that heart out of there with the arrow in it?" Yeah, I know it was a complete pass through. Nice shot! :D

Your bow and arrow points are great. How did you epoxy the skin and get it so wrinkle free? Todd/3leg
30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres

I have killed several deer over the years with longbows and recurves. none further that twenty yards. I can really appreciate Your dedication to the Addiction. :D . Sadly for Me, I can no longer shoot the bows that were easy 20 years ago. All part of getting Old. Congrats. Enjoy.

Once skinned out i do a soft tan on it. Glue it to the wood using Titebond III and the wrap with Vet Wrap. Let it dry and then sand and bevel the edges. Once thats done i used masking tape and 0000 steel wool to remove the scales. Then I spray with a matt clear coat
